their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren 1940 thru the year 2000

Many of the dates and names written herein were taken from the family bible of Aaron Mannon. Aaron Mannon kept his family record until 1910 when Aarons grand daughter, Elizabeth Caroline Mannon, began keeping records, which she did until her death in 1924. In 1914 George R. Mannon placed the following into the pages of the family bible.

Aaron Mannon had eleven children, thirty-six grand children, one hundred and four great grand children, seventy-seven great great grand children, and at the year of 1914, he had eleven great great great grand children, making two hundred and thirty-seven decendents to that year.

There are eight generations in the family tree which I have taken from my great great great grandfather, Aaron Mannon to the present generations consisting of my parents, Florence M. Vanatta and Raymond W. Cochran’s great grandchildren.

I wish I could have lived at a time where I could have known more of these family members. I do appreciate the fact that my parents visited older family members as we were growing up and the names of many great aunts and uncle, and places they lived, bring back fond memories.
